Seamless Living In Christ

I’m looking at pictures on my iPad that I took while up in the mountains on my iPhone. After I’m done editing, I Airdrop them to my MAC. It’s a mystery to me how this happens but I accept it by faith. They are now ready to post anywhere I choose.

This is seamless living, the ability to interact among devices that are integrated with each other. It’s also called EASY.

Here’s an accurate definition of ‘seamless’ in case you’re wondering.

Seamless – The addition of a routine or program that works smoothly with an existing system and can be activated and used as if it had been built into the system when the system was put together. It implies that the new feature can be installed and used without problems. Continuous/flowing.

I like the words ‘continuous’ and ‘flowing’. These words define my life in Christ, in the Spirit. Let’s look at this natural application through spiritual eyes.

Jesus said that He and the Father are ONE. So since He and the Father are ONE and I am in Christ, that makes me ONE with the Father in the Spirit, seamlessly connected to eternity NOW. In fact, in this connection, I am seated in heavenly places while still BEING on earth. That is reality for me.

He embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! 6 Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. Ephesians 2:1-6 (MSG)

My life is seamlessly integrated within the realm of eternity, where I sit in heavenly places. I live my life supernaturally natural right here, right now. It totally affects how I see things, how I hear things, and even how I see myself. (That will be covered in more insights so please stay connected here ok?)

He does not ‘take over’ – He gives you His life for yours, a divine exchange.

Being in Christ means that Jesus integrates His life within mine.

Wait……….He actually does more than that. It gets even better. He takes over my life and replaces it with His so that I live, move and have my being in Him.

Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (MSG)

In other words, I am dead and a new creation in Christ. New, meaning never before seen, living in a whole new paradigm of life, living in the reality of a new kingdom.  I’m not just an upgrade to a ‘better model” like trading in your old Toyota for a new model or buying an upgraded computer. No you and I are new, a NEW CREATION in Christ.

In case you are wondering whether this is a complete takeover, leaving you robotic or cloned, please realize that is not how it is. He does not ‘take over’ – He gives you His life for yours, a divine exchange.

My life is not my own but lived in Christ. There is a distinctiveness or as I love to put it, a ‘creative expression’ in Christ in the earth. You are you as Jesus lives His life not only in and through you but AS YOU. I will be writing more about this right here so keep on reading, learning and changing.

You and I are the creative expression of Christ in the earth and He forms us in His love and empowered by His grace to BE who He calls us to be. Christ lives His life in and through us – right where we BE.

Each day I don’t have to check in. I am IN. My life flows seamlessly from a relationship with Christ Jesus in the Spirit, not from law, or duty or performance. Each moment I access the reality of Christ within me. If that is not the greatest integration the world has ever seen, then I don’t know what is.

Read on and be encouraged. Read slowly and allow Holy Spirit to encourage you down to the depths of your very being.

God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand. I’m an open book to you; even from a distance, you know what I’m thinking. You know when I leave and when I get back; I’m never out of your sight.

You know everything I’m going to say before I start the first sentence. I look behind me and you’re there, then up ahead and you’re there, too— your reassuring presence, coming and going. This is too much, too wonderful— I can’t take it all in!

Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? To be out of your sight? If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute— you’re already there waiting!

Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you. Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb.

I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit-by-bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. Psalms 139:1-16 (MSG)
