“Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us”

There is no separation between God and you. Separation implies distance, and what can separate you from His love? Nothing.
His promise to never leave you or forsake you is not a trite, fickle statement from a schizophrenic God who loves you today but has to think about it tomorrow.
His love is real and unchanging and is not dependent upon our emotions or actions. He loves you.
Christ is within us, in divine union. He expresses His life in us, as us and through us within the context of divine love and acceptance.
Any message that implies separation, where you have to gain favor from God to be accepted is a lie.
There is no separation between you and God.
Maybe you don’t know that right now. So believe and awaken to a few simple truths.
“Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.”
“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, 12 part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”
“Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, 5 he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! 6 Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.”
Religion in any form bristles at a God who loves us before we love Him. It hates to hear that all men are included in Christ and need to be awakened to this reality in their lives. It hates the idea of union and fosters continual ideas on separation so that you and I focus on an angry God up there somewhere that we have to please in any number of ways.
The message of Christ is so simple.
When we even minutely grasp His immense love, there is no turning back.
“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; you know exactly how I was made, bit-by-bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.”
